After three film hiatus, Tyler Perry once again dons his Madea get up in the latest movie adaptation in the Madea series - 'Madea Goes To Jail'. You can watch the extended official trailer for the movie, which comes out in the US in February 2009, above. Definitely looks like it'll be worth a look-see.

Randomness: UK'ers, did you know - true story - that the reason films like Madea often never are released in Cinemas on this side of the globe is because, according to the big film companies, 'there isn't a large enough market for them' here. SMH...

Check out the official trailer for 'Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns' starring acclaimed actress Angela Bassett:

As a fan of Tyler's work, as well as Angela being one of my favourite actresses (see: 'What's Love Got To Do With It'), I'm real amped up for this movie. Certainly looks like Tyler will be onto another box office smash with this one. 'Meet The Browns' hits theatres in the US in March 21st.

'Why Did I Get Married' - Your Review

After debuting at #1 at the US box office, grossing an approximate $21.5 million, in it's first week of release (and still riding high on the charts today), Tyler Perry's 'Why Did I Get Married' is an undeniable box office hit.

Seeing as the film has yet to see it's UK release, I haven't to see it (I'll be watching it soon either way *hint hint* lol). Considering this, I wanted to hear what you guys that have seen it think of it. Did it live up to the hype? Who shone, who was wack? Etc. Express your view by dropping something in the 'comment' section.

Your thoughts?

'Why Did I Get Married' Cast Appear On Oprah

With Tyler Perry's 'Why Did I Get Married' set to hit theatres on October 12th, Perry along with co-stars Jill Scott and Janet Jackson were guests on the Oprah show yesterday (October 3rd). Check out the videos from thier appearance below:

Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8

It was a really great interview, with all of the cast coming across well. A tidbit for the Janet fans (and stans lol): it is rumored that the 'cheating fiance' situation she was talking about pretty much explains her broken friendship with former choreographer Tina Landon. Anyway, back to the film; it looks like it's going to be good. Be sure to check it out when comes to a theatre near you as from next week.

What do you think of the interview?
