Reports are stating that Mariah Carey's month and a half marriage to Nick Canon is already in danger of collapse: Mariah Carey’s marriage won’t last more than six months, according to friends. The 38-year-old singer, who wed rapper Nick Cannon in April, is so demanding her new husband won’t be able to cope with her diva-like behavior.I must be the only person who still hasn't swallowed the idea of the marriage to begin with; just so random. Anyway, I can't say this wasn't expected. I mean, come on now...
One pal close to Mariah revealed 27-year-old Nick has become a source of ridicule for her friends and associates. The source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “I give the marriage six months, tops. I can’t see it lasting.
Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to - he’s like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah’s credit card than he does with Mariah herself. Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself.
However, a friend of Nick’s has vehemently denied the relationship is already in trouble, insisting Nick and Mariah are perfect for each other. The pal said: ‘Mariah needs someone to dote on her.’” {Source}

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon feature in the cover of the latest issue of PEOPLE magazine, confirming that they, indeed, did get married. Check out the excerts from the issue via PEOPLE.com:“We really do feel we are soulmates,” Carey tells PEOPLE, following their sunset ceremony at the pop star’s Bahamian estate. “I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.”
Cannon adds: “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside.”
This still hasn't sunk in, I'm not sure it ever will. None of this adds up; mainly because of Mariah's seemingly cautious view on marrying again. In any case, congratulations to them, I guess.

According to Access Hollywood, Mariah Carey and rumored boyfriend actor/comedian Nick Cannon are set to tie the knot: A source close to Mariah has confirmed to Access Hollywood that the music diva is engaged to Nick Cannon.
Reps for both singers were unavailable for comment.
The couple sent the rumor mill into overdrive when 38-year-old Mariah (with Nick on her arm) was seen sporting a dazzling new piece of bling on her ring finger at the after party for her Tribeca film, “Tennessee,” in New York.
When asked at the party what he loved about Mariah, 27-year-old Nick gave a one-word answer.
“Everything,” he told People.
